Vergnet ensures the commissioning of a wind farm
in Barbados

The restructuring implemented with the 3R Plan is bearing fruit in all areas where Vergnet is developing its activities.
Thus, in Barbados a wind farm of 4 MP-C of 275kW each was commissioned in November
at the place called Ashford Plantation.
Despite a very complicated post-COVID global context (shortage of certain components, increase in logistics prices, extension of supply times) and delays linked to local contingencies, the organization put in place by the new Operations and the involvement of the Vergnet teams in the field made it possible to make up for a large part of the delay and thus respect the schedule close to that initially planned.
Built on behalf of the private company Pavana Energy Ltd, this wind farm aims to sell electricity to the local network
. It also demonstrates the willingness of local authorities to promote green energy on the island.
With the finalization of this €2 million project, Vergnet is meeting the island’s government’s expectations in terms of cooperation with countries that provide renewable energy solutions and further affirming its mission as a creator. virtuous of energy independence
at the service of economic development and the necessary energy transition of the territories.
