Verona Pooth's son Diego was sentenced to 15 social hours at the animal farm "Noah's Ark" in Meerbusch. But what on earth had the Pooth offspring done?

"I get up at 6:30 or 7:00 am, get ready, get on my bike and then drive to" Noah's Ark "in Meerbusch," said Diego Pooth, 17, in the "Poothcast" podcast, which he is involved with his mother Verona Pooth, 52, makes. However, he does not do this voluntarily, but because he has to do it. He did his community hours at the animal farm.

Verona Pooth: Your son is a little tinkerer

How did that happen? The 17-year-old gave something to explain. "I have a somewhat longer scooter tuning career. I got my moped driving license when I was 15 and then had a Vespa – 50 cubic meters, unfortunately you are no longer allowed to ride a moped today," he told the audience. Then he did more and more things with the moped. For example, he built a larger cylinder on it. "Then I had a couple of accidents with the Vespa and it broke," he said. "But you didn't injure anyone, you just slipped – and all of that only on private property," his mother Verona also clarified.

"Then I thought, I'll take Papa's scooter and see what I can do with it." Of course, he only stayed on the property with the scooter, but then the gate opened once and he took his chance and drove out. When he returned, he was caught by the police on his father's scooter one meter in front of the gate.

Diego Pooth: "I would never ride a scooter again if I didn't have the license"

Meanwhile, Diego has finished his community hours and learned his lesson. "The hose thought that through. I would never ride a scooter again if I didn't have the license, because I never want to get up at seven o'clock and take horse droppings away, no matter where," the teenager said ruefully.
