Very light, this mini electric bike pump exudes practicality

Boosted by a successful Indiegogo campaign, the EausAir mini electric pump plays the practicality card to the max with its weight of 178 grams and its small size. This accessory is capable of inflating bicycles, scooters and balloons.

Electric pumps for electric bikes, electric scooters, cars or even scooters are devilishly efficient. We were able to test the famous Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2, which clearly convinced us. The only small black point noted concerned its weight of 490 grams, which we could feel under the hand.

The EausAir clearly seeks to eliminate this small defect, while providing similar efficiency. This mini pump was the subject of a successful crowdfunding campaign, with more than $25,000 raised. At first glance, it clearly reminds us of the Air Compressor 2, but in miniature.

Like a déjà vu

The team behind this project seems to have been openly inspired by it, like the screen on the front whose similarity is uncanny. The information displayed (air pressure, mode and battery gauge) also benefits from the same typography. Below, three buttons allow you to adjust the pressure level, the mode and activate the pump.

Weighing 178 grams, this EausAir has the merit of hitting hard on this point. In theory, it should quickly be forgotten in a pocket in particular. These dimensions of 51.8 mm x 35.9 mm x 75.8 mm give it a high level of compactness, making it a versatile accessory capable of being stored anywhere.

Intelligent, the pump is capable of analyzing and indicating the pressure of a bicycle tire, scooter tire or a ball when the valve is connected to the pump. Beforehand, simply set the desired PSI level according to the tire’s limits. The pump would also be able to detect when the tire is fully inflated, and stop automatically.

More expensive than the Xiaomi pump

Limited to 120 PSI – or 8.2 bars – the EausAir goes less far than the Xiaomi Air Compressor 2 and its 150 PSI (10.3 bars). It also has a three-in-one adapter capable of connecting to Schrader, Presta and Dunlop valves. A needle is also provided to fit the balloons. The pump is finally rechargeable in 39 minutes via a USB-C port.

The EausAir is available in Super Early Bird at a price of 79 dollars, with 10 dollars delivery costs for France. Or around 82 euros at the current exchange rate. Deliveries are scheduled for February 2023. As a reminder, the Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 is priced at 60 euros.
