Vespa as main prize – Mattersburg starts its own vaccination fleet in February

Those who have their main residence in the city of Mattersburg or in Walbersdorf and can prove that they have been vaccinated against Corona at least once have the chance to win one of 100 prizes. A vaccination lottery in the city is responsible for this, whereby participation takes place without registration. Currently, just under 80 percent of the entire community have at least gotten the first bite.

On February 8th, a vaccination fleet will start in Mattersburg on the initiative of Mayor Claudia Schlager (SPÖ). In order to save citizens from having to register online, every resident who is registered in the city or in Walbersdorf automatically takes part. Anyone who is drawn on March 15 and can show a valid vaccination certificate will win one of 100 prizes, including a Vespa worth 6,000 euros. mark will exceed. The community then benefits from a bonus payment from the federal government. In contrast to the federal government’s planned vaccination fleet, the campaign in Mattersburg is definitely fixed. The state government’s vaccination campaign last year was a complete success. 115,122 Burgenlanders took part in the lottery, in which 1000 prizes were raffled off. 12,911 first stitches were set in the entire federal state. The main prizes – three cars – went to people who wanted to be vaccinated in Oberwart, Winden and Oggau.
