(Boursier.com) — Vicat a French cement group, and Materrup, a young industrial company producing carbon-free cement, have signed a major agreement to accelerate the decarbonization of the cement sector by creating a joint venture together.
This new entity will industrialize and market a raw clay cement that halves CO2 emissions, based on CCC technology.
Thanks to the signature of this joint venture, the historic cement manufacturer and the young innovative startup are relying on the complementarity of their expertise to provide an innovative, concrete and immediate response to the challenges of decarbonization in the construction sector.
