Vice invites itself to the M6 streaming platform

Last summer, M6 transformed its 6play replay platform by adding an AVoD component, this free streaming model requiring the viewing of advertisements to access content. This device is increasingly used in the United States in particular, and is gradually being installed in France.

In order to enrich its service, the sixth channel has signed an agreement with the North American group Vice, which will provide around a hundred hours of additional content to 6play. Among the titles cited are French-language programs such as Therapywhere personalities are questioned by a psychoanalyst, the documentary Real on an Afro Parisian hairdressing salon, or the cooking show To the Truck, where a starred chef meets the best pizza trucks in the country. A partnership which has nothing to do with poker and which confirms that the fashion for AVoD still has a bright future ahead of it.
