Victim in danger of death – homeless man set on fire in Graz: perpetrator on the run

An unbelievable act took place in Graz on Saturday night: a previously unknown man is said to have doused a homeless man with a flammable liquid and set him on fire. The 52-year-old victim’s life is in danger and the perpetrator is being sought.

After midnight, witnesses observed a man walking away from the entrance to a shop with a canister on Lendplatz in Graz. Shortly afterwards there was a shock: passers-by noticed that a man was on fire. It was a 52-year-old homeless man who probably spent the night there. The victim’s life is in danger. The Hungarian suffered serious burn injuries and was taken to the LKH Graz by the rescue team. According to doctors, the man’s life is in danger. An immediate search for the unknown man has so far been unsuccessful. Description of the perpetrator: Male, around 40 to 50 years old, around 170 centimeters tall, dressed in dark clothing.
