Victoria Beckham: In the corona quarantine, she dispenses with high heels

Ex-spice girl Victoria Beckham (46, "That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between") is known for always being perfectly styled. Like many of her fellow human beings, the designer is currently spending a large part of her time in her own four walls due to the corona pandemic. However, husband David (45, "Beckham") and the four children do not see them in sweatpants, as the 46-year-old told the British newspaper "The Guardian".

"I keep getting up early and exercising every day," Beckham told the weekend's weekend magazine. After sport, she puts on comfortable clothes to work in, such as "a pair of old jeans, a t-shirt, or a sweater." Despite being isolated at home, the British woman is not ready for sweatpants. Why? "I still want to feel good," she said.

Old sneakers instead of high heels

The designer also adapts her footwear to the current situation. Since she and her family, who along with her footballer husband include sons Brooklyn (21), Romeo (17), Cruz (15) and daughter Harper (8), mainly go for walks in the country, the 46-year-old wears them most of the time "an old pair of sneakers" and "definitely not high heels". "It's so nice to just do things with the family and not worry too much about what to wear," said Beckham.

The fashion designer is nevertheless looking forward to an end to the pandemic and the associated restrictions, as she revealed in the interview: "I can't wait to get the studio up and running again." She misses dressing up for certain occasions, such as a typical British "pub lunch with family and friends" where she can enjoy a "couple of glasses of wine". "I'm really grateful for the family time," said Beckham. "But I'm ready for a little more company now."
