Fashion designer Victoria Beckham teamed up with her former Spice Girls bandmates for a Pride campaign.

Victoria Beckham (47) and the Spice Girls are doing something together again – and for a good cause. The fashion designer has teamed up with her former band members Geri Halliwell (48), Melanie B (46), Melanie C (47) and Emma Bunton (45) for a Pride campaign. The result proudly presented the girl band on Instagram.

Each Spice Girl posted a photo of herself in a Victoria Beckham-designed T-shirt on the band’s official account. In the rainbow lettering it reads “Proud and wannabe your lover” (German: “Proud and would like to be your lover”). The slogan is intended to allude to the Spice Girls’ world hit “Wannabe”, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Proceeds for a good cause

Victoria Beckham sells the shirt and a bag with the same label currently in your webshop. The entire proceeds will go to the British organization “Akt”, which campaigns against homelessness in the LGBTQ + community.

But it’s not just the Spice Girls who promote the special shirts. Victoria Beckham also promptly hired her entire family to promote the shirts. She published on her Instagram account Photos of their children Harper (9), Cruz (16), Romeo (18) and Brooklyn (22) as well as their husband David Beckham (46) in and with the shirts.

Comebacks and reunions so far without Victoria Beckham

Most recently, the successful 1990s girl band celebrated a comeback in 2019 in the form of a tour through Great Britain and Ireland – but without Beckham. The designer also made it clear that she would not be part of any tour originally planned for 2021. It is not known whether Beckham will be part of possible anniversary projects for this year’s 25th anniversary of the band.
