Victoria Bedos’ moving tribute to her father Guy

She will never forget it. Sunday May 29, French mothers are in the spotlight, but it is to her dad that Victoria Bedos wanted to pay tribute, in an Instagram post. And for good reason, the day before, it has been two years to the day that comedian and actor Guy Bedos died. For the occasion, the 38-year-old writer, singer and actress shared with her community of subscribers a short video in which we see her father reminding her how much he loves her.

“I love you”, he repeats to her twice, his eyes sparkling. This short extract, his daughter accompanied it with these few words: “2 years since you left… I love you, dad”, followed by a broken heart emoji. A tribute to which the fans of the artist did not remain indifferent, since the comments are numerous to appear under the publication.

A shower of tributes for Guy Bedos

Some of them were published by personalities, like singer Izia Higelin, who wrote a single “I like you”. For her part, journalist Elsa Wolinski was content with four heart emojis. There is no doubt that both understand well the pain of Victoria Bedossince their respective dads – the author, composer and performer Jacques Higelin, as well as the cartoonist Georges Wolinski – are also deceased.

Other Internet users, anonymous, have expressed their support for the sister of Nicolas Bedos. “Oh, and we will always love your daddy too”, wrote one of them. Same story from this other user of the social network: “He’s a great man and we miss him a lot.” On May 28, 2020, the French had learned of the death of Guy Bedos. 85 years old, the actor died of Alzheimer’s disease.
