In September, the “Victoria’s Secret World Tour” enters a new round. Also present are Doja Cat and Gigi Hadid.
The new edition of the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” is coming to the screens next month with “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour”. The show can be seen on Prime Video on September 26, as has now been announced. The lingerie brand announced the news known with a sensual teaser video on Instagram.
The clip also stars Doja Cat (27), Hailey Bieber (26), Gigi Hadid (28), Iris Law (22) and Lila Moss (20), among others, who will walk the catwalk in the show. Legendary Victoria’s Secret angels like Candice Swanepoel (34), Lily Aldridge (37) or Adriana Lima (42) also appear in the video and will be part of the big show.
Victoria’s Secret wants to reinvent itself
The show is designed to celebrate “women and global creatives,” according to the accompanying caption. Not only models, but also musicians and actresses will be seen on the catwalk. In addition to new underwear items from the brand, four fashion collections by different designers from Bogota, Lagos, London and Tokyo will also be presented. “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour” should also contain a documentary in addition to the catwalk show.
Victoria’s Secret has undergone a rebrand in recent years. In December 2018, the legendary “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” flickered across the screens for the last time after 23 years. In 2021, the underwear manufacturer finally separated from its “angels” and replaced them with a more diverse “VS collective”, including US soccer player Megan Rapinoe (38), freestyle skier Eileen Gu (19) or actress Priyanka Chopra (41) as well Valentina Sampaio (26), the first transgender model at Victoria’s Secret. The brand wants to make more room for diversity, inclusion and the needs of “real” women, including with a more diverse range of sizes.
