VIDEO – Accusations of rape by Judith Godrèche: the actress “not much” supported by her colleagues


Judith Godrèche has been at the heart of the news for several days. And for good reason, the actress filed a complaint against Benoît Jacquot for “rape of a minor”, on February 6. Then two days later, Dany Boon’s ex-wife accused Jacques Doillon of having attacked her when she was only 15 years oldbefore announcing that she would also file a complaint against him. This Tuesday, February 13, the director was a guest on the radio show RTL Good evening, on RTL. During the interview, Stéphane Boudsocq asked the star if she received messages of support from actors or actressesto which she responds: “Not much no. Not much.”

The journalist then asks the woman who is also a screenwriter if “it’s a regret” Or “a finding”. Judith Godrèche therefore affirms that she does not have any negative feelings: “Look, I think everyone needs time, that it is a kick given to a door which will open little by little (…) It’s difficult for everyone. I think there are actors and actresses who must also ask themselves all kinds of questions about their own experiences (…) Perhaps it refers to such painful things. I think everyone’s story is really different. ” The actress also assures “no judgment” and not be there “in the hope and expectation that all the actors and actresses of France” send him messages and that it is not moreover “not the purpose of [sa] speaking”.

Judith Godrèche’s rape accusations: is her career over?

Following her speech, Judith Godrèche is convinced that her career in cinema is over since she has in some way attacked the industry, as she explained on February 12 in the show C this evening on France 5: I attack a lot of established stuff. I attacked Télérama. I attacked the Cahiers du cinéma, I attacked the CNC (…) It’s safe to say I’m not making many friends.” Since her shocking revelations, several actors and actresses have spoken in the media, such as Julie Gayet who congratulated her colleague for freeing the floor. Fabrice Luchini broke the silence on the cinema industry while Anny Duperey reacted to the actress’s accusations before returning to his clumsy remarks, after creating outrage on the Web. Alexandra Lamy and Ségolène Royal have also reframed the writer on social networks and publicly provided their support for Judith Godrèche.
