The charity speedruns event in partnership with MisterMV is back on track for a third edition.
A video game marathon under the sign of speed which is making a comeback almost a year after the second edition, which raised more than 800,000 euros for the benefit of Doctors of the World. This year, meet from March 9 to 12 at the Palais des Congrès, as well as on MisterMV’s Twitch channel, to once again support the historic association.
The event Games Done Quick French style leaves
The now well-established SpeedDons therefore invites us for the third time to come and see games being blown up in record time by professional speedrunners for charitable purposes. Who says third edition also says three days (and a half) of marathon to raise as much funds as the speed allows for the Doctors of the World association.
Taking place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, it will thus be possible to attend the event on site, for a one-day ticket priced at 12 euros (at the time of writing, there is no unfortunately already more places on Saturday and Sunday).
The guests will have 12 retrogaming stations, a meeting area with the runners, another with Doctors of the World, as well as a catering service provided by none other than Chef Poka. For the rest, it will of course be possible to follow the marathon comfortably at home via the MisterMV Twitch channel.
A fast schedule and beautiful people
SpeeDons 2023 will launch the starting signal on Thursday March 9 at 5:30 p.m. with a Canblaster concert opening. Then place the games almost without interruption until the end of the night of Sunday March 12.
And the schedule promises to be very busy, with a myriad of excellent titles including Bloodborne, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Divinity Original Sin 2, Half Life 2, Majora’s Mask, Cuphead or Elden Ring to finish the event in apotheosis, among so many other great games.
To lead all this, we can obviously count on MisterMV, who will interview representatives of Doctors of the World from time to time, but also DamDamLive, Laink, RealMyop, Shisheyu, ZeratoR, Hugo Délire and many others.
Each speedrun will come with different incentives for viewers to donate. Various prizes and goodies such as an official t-shirt will also be included. All funds raised will be donated to Doctors of the World. See you at full speed from March 9 to 12 to follow all this without blinking an eye!
