VIDEO – Grégoire, “dented” by the death of his brothers: this philosophy that he wants to pass on to his children


While Grégoire releases a new album, Livehe was present on the set of Telematin this Saturday, February 3 to tell us more about this new opus. At the microphone of Damien Thévenot, the artist was invited to return to certain songs, which “tell pieces of [sa] life”, in connection with the terrible tragedies that struck his family. Indeed, the man who had been accused of plagiarism by a famous singer unfortunately lost his two brothers… “We feel that life has beaten you down”reacted Damien Thévenot. “But you’re here today, it’s the principle of resilience, I guess…” “Exactlyreplied the happy dad, before explaining the philosophy he wishes to pass on to his children.

With emotion, Éléonore’s husband, who is still in love, detailed the process behind her new album: Liveit’s a project, it’s an album, it’s a tour where I tell my life, which is the story of a boy who has a dream, to make music, and who, despite the challenges, will follow this dream to the end.” However, it is not in an autobiographical spirit that the composer of You + Mewho is one of the rare singers to have been launched through crowdfunding, wanted to share his life path with his audience. For Gregory, who rose to fame thanks to 347 patrons enthusiastic about his compositions, the goal was to “to transmit” this message of hope.

“Life is beautiful, even if…”

In an interview given to Gala.fr published on January 26, Grégoire had already confided: “You have to seize opportunities and follow your dreams. It’s a message I want to pass on to my children.” On the set of Telematinhe once again clarified the positive message that he wishes to convey through his new compositions, which he describes as “solar” : “The idea is to say that life is beautiful if you choose it, even if, unfortunately, you can encounter tragedies.” A moving confession that touched Damien Thévenot straight to the heart. “I love this song [Vivre, ndlr]and now that I understand the circumstances in which you wrote it, it takes a special turn…”
