VIDEO – “Isn’t that true?” : Léa Salamé surprised by a revelation about the Star Academy

This is information that will certainly interest fans of the star Academy, the last edition of which was won by Pierre Garnier… although it is related to architecture and not music! Saturday March 30, as usual, Léa Salamé received several guests on her weekly show What an era!, broadcast on France 2. Among them was François Sureau, member of the French Academy. What was the journalist’s surprise when she learned that the famous castle of Dammarie-les-Lys (Seine-et-Marne), where the telecrochet students have been housed since the launch of the program in 2001 on TF1 (with the exception of the candidates for seasons 8 and 9, filmed at the Hôtel Brossier in Paris and at the Château de la Geneste in Châteaufort)… had belonged to the family of the lawyer and writer!

After announcing that he was preparing to “make a confession that will suffice[ait] to ruin his reputation forever”the 66-year-old senior civil servant made some unexpected confessions: “I don’t watch Star Ac’ for a very simple reason: for five seasons, the castle was my family home, which we had to sell after it fell into ruin.” “That’s not true?! The castle, where they film the Star Ac’ ?!” Raphaël Glucksmann’s partner immediately reacted. “I avoided showing my father, at the end of his life (he was already not well), what had become of the [château] of the familyspecified François Sureau, under the stunned gaze of Gabriel’s mother. Since then, I no longer watch the Star Ac’. Exit, the Star Ac’ !” A revelation which amused the comedian Paul de Saint Sernin, who immediately responded: “And so, there is Kendji [Girac] and Matt Pokora singing in your room right now?!”
