Tuesday February 20, like every evening, Cyril Hanouna was on the air of C8 to present Do not touch My TV. Surrounded by his band of columnists, the host received Laurent Ruquier on his set for the promotion of his play The Mona Lisa finally speaks. The small screen star who left BFMTV also spoke on his new professional experience. Because yes, the rest will not have lasted long for the host who joined the jury of Mask Singer 2024. Its role is to try to unmask the personalities hidden behind crazy costumes.
The reason for his participation? “I have no exclusivity” replies Laurent Ruquier. “I’m having the time of my life.”he assured before recalling: “I’m with friends. I’m with Chantal LadesouI am with Kev Adamswith Inès Reg. There you go, I’m having fun.” Cyril Hanouna then revealed that this was not the first time that TF1 had offered Laurent Ruquier this show. The latter added that his participation in a lobster costume last year was not a pure coincidence: “I admit that I did it knowingly because I told myself, seeing the investigators for several seasons, that it was a job that I could do, where I could have fun because I like to improvise, I likes to mess around, guess what the characters are.”

Cyril Hanouna announces a new show concept and offers animation to Laurent Ruquier
On the set of Do not touch My TV, Cyril Hanouna unveiled a new show concept baptized Step into the light. “A guy arrives, there is a jury of three people, he starts performing his sketch for a minute in the dark, we can barely see him. The jury has showers of light. If after a minute, that it rained, he comes into the light and he finishes his sketch”he summarized before specifying that “everything is laid out for this comedy program”. “And if it doesn’t please him, he leaves and we never see him. That way at least he’s not humiliated”, detailed Cyril Hanouna. After presenting his project, the brainchild of this new format suggested that Laurent Ruquier host it. “Really, I’m looking for a facilitator” declared Cyril Hanouna, before correcting himself: “I’m not looking for a facilitator elsewhere because the first person and the only person I thought of initially was Laurent.”
