VIDEO – Michel Drucker and Laurent Voulzy “above a ravine”: that day when they escaped death

If New Year’s Eve allows us to turn the page to start a new year, it also allows us to remember memories of the past year. This Sunday, on the set of Looking forward to Sundayfriends Laurent Voulzy and Michel Drucker were among those who remembered. Invited on the set of the show broadcast on France 3, the singer and sidekick of Alain Souchon was honored by the cult television presenter, who painted his portrait. After recalling his childhood, spent far from Guadeloupe where his parents came from, Laurent Voulzy was quickly confronted with his first trips to the island. During one of them, accompanied by Michel Drucker, the singer narrowly avoided death. “If I’m not here, we’re not here today… I still had some memories of my helicopter teachers”, said the presenter.

By revealing a black and white photo of the two men, Michel Drucker left the interpreter of “Rock collection” the care of recounting their adventures. The latter remembered a filming, which took place on board a helicopter. “I was calm because there was the pilot and there was you who is a helicopter pilot”, he continued, before continuing by explaining that several shots of the machine taking off then landing had been necessary. After three takes, “We were suspended in the air and when it hit the peak, the helicopter was no longer moving, but it was shaking. And there, we felt that the void existed below”. It’s up to Michel Drucker to take control of the story, and add: You looked at me and we said, ‘This is the last time we’ll look at each other.'” Ultimately, more fear than harm. For Johnny Hallyday’s former friend, it is a “unforgettable memory”.

Last November, It’s with Florent Pagny that Michel Drucker reported an incredible anecdote. “We have a linked destiny”explained the former coach of The Voice, detailing that they had known each other thirty-five years ago, “even before I sang since I played your role in a TV movie.”
