Maëlys and Arthur Noyer cases: the worrying Nordahl Lelandais
Remembering the first moments of the disappearance of the very young victim, the mother of Maëlys evokes a certain regret. “I did not listen to my intuition. I told myself that she was with him, but he managed to make me doubt by being sure of himself”, she explains about the defendant soon to be judged. At that time, Nordahl Lelandais had just returned from the parking lot while all the wedding guests were desperately looking for the little girl.
On February 14, 2018, several months after his disappearance, Maëlys’ body was found in the Chartreuse massif. An episode that the couple had a lot of trouble living. “I had a hope to see her again and find her alive”, recalls Joachim, during this unprecedented testimony.
A family broken by the disappearance of Maëlys
As the prospect of a trial draws closer, the parents “don’t expect anything from him anymore”, except for precise explanations of the death of Maëlys.
“He threw my daughter away like she was trash”, considers Jennifer, “he broke our life”. Indeed, despite a marriage a few months after the disappearance of their daughter, the two parents ended up separating, under the weight of the absence of their second child.
