VIDEO – Presidential 2022: Anna Mouglalis becomes the president of “Baron Noir” again to support the popular Primary

COMMITTED – The French actress found the look and intonations of the president of the series “Baron Noir” in a clip released by the organizers of the Popular Primary. Its goal ? Encourage voters to register for this citizens’ initiative which intends to decide between seven left-wing personalities in the race for the Élysée.

When reality meets fiction, or almost. Anna Mouglalis, who played President Amélie Dorendeu in the political series Black Baron on Canal +, finds his character in a video posted this Thursday on social networks. Not to announce his candidacy in 2022… but to invite voters to participate in the popular Primary. “My dear compatriots, the situation is serious!“, she launches facing the camera, on a black background, her photo at the Élysée nearby.

It is vital for our republic to restore democracy and deliberation, where today everything rests on a man or a woman“, explains the actress, after having mentioned the climatic and social emergencies. “Faced with the powerlessness of the various candidates from the ecology and the left to unite behind a common candidacy, the popular Primary decided to provide a citizen response by refusing the announced defeat.”

“It is no longer time to divide, but to come together to win. Alone we go faster, but together we go to the Élysée”, concludes Anna Mouglalis, calling on all citizens who wish to do so to register on the Popular Primary website until Sunday January 23 at 11:59 p.m., the deadline for participating in the ballot.

Three months before the first round, the organizers of the Popular Primary call on the seven candidates from the left to submit to the vote, considering that it is a question of “the best possible way to win what we have in common, the fight against climate change and inequality”.

On Wednesday, he claimed 311,000 registered for this symbolic vote scheduled for January 27 to 30. Among the seven left-wing personalities selected by the organizers, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Yannick Jadot and Anne Hidalgo refused to participate, and found themselves registered in the ballot despite themselves. Christiane Taubira, who announced her candidacy last weekend, has agreed to be included.
