“We went to see him with Claude (Lelouch), four or five days before he leaves home there. Therefore we had time to say goodbye“, confided the actor. Gérard Darmon spoke about how much Bernard Tapie had impressed him. “He shot after three days, he knew what an actor was, Luchini didn’t scare him at all, he could even eat him, he amused himself. He knew how to produce a film, he understood everything very quickly, politics he managed, business… he is a man that i love.“
