As M6 has just announced, Vincent Dedienne will finally present “Le Maillon weak” but only for a special number, which will be filmed in April. The comedian had denied taking charge of the cult show formerly presented by Laurence Boccolini.
New twist at M6. After denying becoming the new presenter of the Weak link, Vincent Dedienne will indeed present the cult show. As M6 has just announced in a press release, the comedian will be at the helm of an exceptional prime-time filmed during the month of April with 16 personalities who will play for an association.

Guest in Culture Media on Europe 1 last November, Vincent Dedienne assured that he was not against the idea of presenting a bonus from Weak link. “I think it’s great to see you in there, at least for the exceptional ones!”, Thomas Isle had suggested. “Ah anyway, it wouldn’t be to do it all my life, it would be to do it once!”, the comedian retorted.
In the preceding weeks, everyone was convinced that he would sign for a full season of Weak link. Information that he had denied in the columns of Telerama“I won’t present it, that’s not true. As I love this program and it’s its 25th anniversary, I said to myself that I could do two exceptional broadcasts of the Weak link to laugh and bring together my passions for spectacle and gaming”, he assured before adding: “A journalist leaked this in Var Morning, everyone seized on it by saying that I was going to start a new career as a game host. That wasn’t the point at all, I just wanted to do two and, as a result, I didn’t didn’t want to do it anymore. It’s dead in the bud.” Water has since flowed under the bridges and Vincent Dedienne has rediscovered the desire to embark on this adventure of Weak link which will only last for one evening!
