Vision Pro: Apple glasses offer so much memory

APPLE VISION PRO

The Apple Vision Pro is not scheduled to appear until 2024 and the Cupertino-based manufacturer has not yet revealed all the details. An insider now reveals the size of the internal memory.

In order to store data and apps, the Vision Pro should have SSD storage. (Source: Apple)

  • The Apple Vision Pro will get a terabyte of SSD storage.
  • A tester at an Apple lab for app developers is said to have found this out.
  • Apple may also offer other configurations.

Apple is said to equip the Vision Pro with massive storage that far exceeds the entry-level configurations of Macbooks. The SSD storage should be one terabyte.

The online magazine iPhoneSoft wants to find out with the help of a tester. It was only necessary to open the corresponding settings menu.

Apple Vision Pro offers 1 terabyte of storage

The magazine’s informant is said to have tried out Apple’s mixed reality glasses in one of the manufacturer’s laboratories. Apple operates test labs for app developers in Cupertino, London, Munich, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo. This is probably how the informant gained access.

Since these are test devices, we cannot rule out the possibility that other configurations are possible in the end product, even if the information is correct. Finally, with the Macbook Pro you can select up to eight terabytes of data storage if you wish, and the M2-Macbook Air with the same chip as in the headset also has a maximum of two terabytes of SSD storage. We will surely find out more next year.
