(CercleFinance.com) – Vivendi is sponsoring two key events organized by La Biennale di Venezia for the next three years: the Mostra (the International Film Festival) and the Biennale College Cinema.
Canal+ will be the only broadcaster in France of the next editions of the Mostra, starting with the 79th edition which will be held from August 31 to September 10. It will also broadcast the event in several other countries in Europe, as well as in French-speaking Africa.
Arnaud de Puyfontaine, Chairman of the Management Board of Vivendi, declared: ‘Italy is a key country for Vivendi. We are already there as the largest shareholder of Telecom Italia and Havas is one of the largest communication agencies there. We also want to play an important role in the development and promotion of Italian culture.’
