(CercleFinance.com) – The Vivendi group announces that it has received several takeover offers from Gala magazine, currently owned by its subsidiary Prisma Media.
As a reminder, the sale of the entire share is one of the conditions imposed by the European Commission to authorize the merger between Vivendi and Lagardère.
‘After reviewing these offers, it was decided to enter into exclusive negotiations with the Figaro Group which, if successful, will have to be approved as a buyer by the European Commission’, emphasizes Vivendi.
The operation must also be subject to information-consultation procedures with the employee representative bodies concerned.
Vivendi says it is ‘confident’ and expects to be able to finalize this operation by October 2023.
