VLC: a major update on iOS with Spatial Audio and network sharing

Spatial Audio and many new features on the program

One of the major additions in this VLC update is obviously spatial audio support with the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. A feature, much requested by many macOS, tvOS and iOS users, has finally become a reality.

The new additions are not limited to the interface and audio as it is now possible to access all media stored locally in “Files”, making playback possible from connected external storage devices. Note also the support for network shares in NFS and SFTP or the ability to perform downloads from SMB servers.

This update is available all over the world on the App Store and it brings with it a large number of various and varied fixes. This requires that you have installed iOS 9.0 (or any later version) on your device.
