In order to get new customers, Internet providers lure them with promotions and bonuses. Vodafone also uses this trick. If you opt for a Vodafone cable tariff with a 24-month contract (also called “Red Internet & Phone Cable”), you pay no basic fee for the first six months and save between 180 and 300 euros. COMPUTER BILD explains all the advantages of a Vodafone cable tariff – but also says for whom the offer might not be the first choice.
Vodafone cable: This is how much new customers save
The omission of the provision fee and the free router are further bonuses for new customers. The former is 69.99 euros – no small matter -, the latter normally costs 2.99 euros per month for the duration of the contractual relationship. That adds up to a total of 141.75 euros, which Vodafone waives. For potential changers who are currently stuck in the old contract, there is the so-called provider change advantage. Vodafone will waive the basic price for up to twelve months as long as you (have to) still use your old contract. Depending on the remaining duration and monthly price of the old tariff, a few hundred euros can quickly add up.
