Volkswagen opens pre-orders in Germany
Volkswagen has just opened pre-orders for the new version of the ID.3. Indeed, its electric city car will benefit from a welcome facelift in 2023. The opportunity for users to discover the prices offered by the manufacturer.

In this race for electrification, Volkswagen enjoys a considerable lead over certain competitors. By 2026, the German brand plans to launch no less than 10 brand new electric vehicles. In 2023 alone, three new models will hit the market, namely the redesign of the ID.3, the famous ID.7 sedan, designed to compete with the Tesla Model 3, not to mention the long-wheelbase variant of the ‘ID. buzz.
At the beginning of March, VW lifted the veil precisely on the new version of the ID.3. This overhaul, rather timid, is content above all with erase the main defects of the original model, especially on the side of the passenger compartment. And precisely, three weeks after this presentation, the revised version of the ID.3 is available for pre-order in Germany.
More attractive prices on the ID.3 2023
The opportunity for us to discover the price list introduced by Volkswagen. As announced by recent rumors, prices have been revised downwards. Thus, the new ID.3 “Pro” with its 58 kWh battery is available from €39,995 on the brand configurator.
When launching the first name ID.3, this configuration was displayed at €37,790. But with the worldwide shortage of microchips and growing inflation, VW repeatedly increased its prices to end up with a starting price of €43,995 in Germany.
A starting price below €40,000 in France?
In France, the old model was offered at €46,750. However, it offered additional equipment. In fact, we can count on a lower price in France (below the 40,000 € mark) for the entry level of this new ID.3.

The ID.3 Pro S sold above €47,000
But that’s not all since the configurator reveals some details about the ID. 3 Pro S, the Premium model of the range. Thus, the city car with a 77 kWh battery is trading here at €47,595 (which excludes it in France from the allocation criteria for the ecological bonus of €5,000). In France, the equivalent model, namely the Pro S First Exclusive, is sold from €55,600.
displaying a range of 545 km in the WLTP cycle and a power of 150 kW (204 horsepower), it benefits from faster charging thanks to the improvements made to the MEB platform. Now charging can be done up to a maximum power of 170kW. Finally, the equipment offer is more extensive, with 19″ aluminum rims and electric ErgoActive seats.
