(CercleFinance.com) – Drone Volt announces this evening the launch of a new VTOL type drone – with vertical takeoff and landing – belonging to the Heliplane range.
Thanks to the lift generated by its wings, this new Heliplane can fly for nearly 3 hours and cover up to 1,600 hectares per flight, assures Drone Volt.
Available in two versions (2.4 m or 3.4 m wingspan), this new drone completes the current range offered by the Group. The device is particularly suitable for photogrammetry of large surfaces, long-distance surveillance or taking high-precision readings.
Drone Volt has also announced its interest in the development of a drone powered by a hydrogen engine.
