(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia announces the construction of a new 12.1 MW solar power plant in Logelbach, in the Grand-Est.
Located in the town of Wintzenheim, the site and its 21,384 solar panels stretch across 12 hectares.
When it is scheduled to come into service in the second half of 2023, the production of the future Logelbach photovoltaic power plant will cover the electricity consumption of around 6,000 inhabitants, estimates Voltalia.
“We are thus contributing to minimizing the energy crisis which is hitting France hard like the rest of Europe,” said Sébastien Clerc, CEO of Voltalia.
