Voltalia: acquisition of the Cap Sud group by Helexia


(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia announces that its subsidiary Helexia, specialist in decentralized electricity production and energy efficiency, has acquired the Cap Sud group, which specializes in photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of agricultural buildings.

Employing 110 employees, Cap Sud currently owns 344 photovoltaic agricultural roofs representing an operating capacity of around 35 megawatts, the energy produced from which is either used by farmers or sold on the network.

Helexia and Voltalia were appointed as buyers for a price (equity value) of five million euros, the head company of Cap Sud and some of its subsidiaries having been placed at the end of 2021 in safeguard or receivership proceedings.
