(Boursier.com) — Voltalia rose 0.8% to 8.08 euros this Wednesday, while the group sold a wind farm site to TODA, a Japanese conglomerate. Discussions are underway to provide construction and operation-maintenance services. This is the continuation of a successful partnership, following a 28 megawatt wind project developed and built by Voltalia for TODA three years ago.
The 90-megawatt project, called Casqueira, will include 15 wind turbines supplied by Nordex Acciona. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2024 and be completed in the first quarter of 2025. The project will benefit from the interconnection infrastructures already developed and built by Voltalia.

The Casqueira wind farm will be part of the Serra Branca cluster, the largest wind and solar cluster in the world, initiated and developed by Voltalia. Today, the Serra Branca cluster includes a 2.4 gigawatt, 500 kVA grid connection and a total of 1.8 gigawatt of operating wind and solar power plants, of which 1 gigawatt is owned or majority owned by Voltalia and 0, 8 gigawatt was sold by Voltalia to partners. The resort is located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

TODA currently owns a 28 megawatt wind farm in the Serra Branca complex. Now in operation, this project was developed and built by Voltalia in 2020, which currently provides operation and maintenance services.

Sébastien Clerc, Managing Director of Voltalia, declared: “We are very proud to once again support our long-standing partner, TODA. Our teams are fully mobilized to make this new cooperation a new common success.”
Portzamparc takes note of these announcements which “give credibility to the 2023 guidance” in terms of Ebitda (275 ME) and remains a purchase on the file, targeting a price of 13.40 euros.
