Voltalia: signs two cooperation agreements in Uzbekistan

(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia has signed two agreements consolidating the development of its projects combining solar, wind and storage in Uzbekistan.

The two cooperation agreements signed on November 2 concern: a protocol regarding the next stages of the development of the Shurkul hybrid project; a protocol for the extension of the Sarimay project, providing, in the wake of the solar project, for its hybridization with the addition of 100 additional megawatts of wind power, associated with battery storage solutions.

‘These two bilateral agreements consolidate our presence in Uzbekistan. We are particularly proud that our multi-energy expertise can support the country’s trajectory towards predominantly renewable energy while strengthening its energy independence,’ commented Sébastien Clerc, Managing Director of Voltalia.
