(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia announces the launch of a photovoltaic power plant project with the National Center for Space Studies (CNES), landowner of the Guyanese Space Center.
Voltalia was indeed chosen as the winner of the call for tenders launched by CNES for the construction, on the Kourou space base, of a photovoltaic park with a surface area of 5 hectares and a capacity of 4.2 megawatts.
The construction financing, amounting to 5 million euros, is provided by the CNES, which benefits from the PlanFrance Relance. The solar power plant is expected to come into service in June 2023.
