Volkswagen and automotive supplier Bosch are planning a joint venture to build machines to power Volkswagen’s battery cell factories, Germany’s monthly Manager magazine reported on Monday, citing unnamed sources.
Details of the partnership have yet to be determined, but Volkswagen board member Thomas Schmall and Bosch production and technology director Rolf Najork signed a memorandum of understanding on the matter on Monday. , according to the magazine.
