For a 65-year-old Pongauer, the day in the hospital ended.
Workers were busy with woodwork in the area of the Öbristkopf. They transported several trunks by means of a wooden cable car. Suddenly a tree trunk came loose and rolled over a road embankment. A 65-year-old was standing three meters below – he was about to put down a fence. He could no longer evade and was trapped under the trunk. The workers freed the man and provided first aid. The rescue helicopter flew him to the Schwarzach hospital.
