Vorarlberg’s governor Markus Wallner (ÖVP) has tested positive for Corona. Due to a positive antigen test, he has to stay away from the state parliament meeting on Wednesday.
The antigen test was carried out on Tuesday afternoon. Subsequently, a PCR test was carried out on Wednesday morning. Wallner has mild cold symptoms and works from home until the PCR results are available. He is double vaccinated. In addition to the governor, the two club chairmen Roland Frühstück (ÖVP) and Daniel Zadra (Greens) and the two ÖVP mandataries Christina Metzler and Veronika Marte also tested positive. They are also in quarantine, waiting for the results of their PCR tests.
