After 2023 ending with Wabbit Island and single-account servers, Wakfu continues with a new year full of updates. 2024 would also possibly be the first step for a complete overhaul of the interfaces.
Wakfu updates in 2024
Wakfu had its biggest year in 2023, both in terms of popularity and updates. The MMO has benefited from an overhaul of its first levels, *very* numerous class balances, a removal of single/multi target masteries and even the addition of an HD mode. All to enable an optimal experience on recent Ogrest single-account servers. And the game’s development won’t stop there.
In addition to a merger of single-account servers, update 1.83 should arrive very soon. This will continue the content of 1.82, with the Ultimate boss Tal Kasha, the arrival of the Ivory Dofus and the end of the Wabbit quests. What a good start to 2024 in terms of PvM.
For the future, the Sadida will finally have the right to its balancing. The class suffered quite greatly from the lack of recent modifications. Its decreasing popularity, regardless of the server, greatly attests to the need for rework on spells. Enutrof, another support in the background, will also be entitled to some adjustments.
During the year, we will be able to mention the display of HD environments in terms of appearance of the game and especially the evolution of the steles. The Wakfu team should return very quickly to present their first ideas. Among other things, we would speak of a “simpler, more uniform” operation in order to generalize the system. 2024 would finally end with a traditional big content expansion.
In the long term, an overhaul of the interfaces is in the works and will progress step by step. The feedback after Wakfu Single Account clearly points to this major problem with the game, which on the other hand requires a lot of in-depth work and reflection. In any case, a more complete presentation of the project will undoubtedly be available with a Krosmonote at the beginning of 2024.
