Wall Street: A 6th session of increase, despite rate increase

(CercleFinance.com) – Like the European markets, Wall Street offered itself a completely linear session, in the form of a long horizontal stagnation within a millimeter range… but the transfer was took place almost entirely in the green, unlike the CAC40 or the Euro-stoxx50 which spent more than 8 hours in the red.

Wall Street therefore lined up a 6th consecutive session of increase, but it was the 7th for the Nasdaq which gained 0.3% to 13,518, with more securities in decline than in progress.
The increases in Apple +1.5% and Nvidia +1.7% offset the declines in Paypal -2.7%, Palo Alto and On-Semiconductors at -3%, illumina at -3.5%.

The Dow Jones index gained +0.10% to 34,095.86 points and the S&P-500 +0.18% to 4,366 points.
Buyers held their ground ahead of the intervention of numerous members of the FED this week, and in particular of Jerome Powell this Wednesday.

The 2033 T-Bonds rose by +8Pts to 4.638% (after -40Pts in 5 sessions, and a floor was even recorded on Friday evening at 4.4810%, or -54Pts compared to the annual zenith).

No US figures this Monday and a minimal agenda in Europe… a day of transition therefore.
