Wall Street opens higher, offers respite after appalling week

The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Tuesday, offering itself some respite after experiencing its worst week since March 2020, although most traders still expect the indices to fall further in the medium term.

In the first exchanges, the Dow Jones took 1.38%, the Nasdaq index, with strong technological coloring, offered 1.78%, and the broader S&P 500 index, 1.63%.
