(CercleFinance.com) – Walmart announces a strengthening of its Walmart+ streaming offer, which will soon be available to members with an additional bonus, namely a Paramount + Essential subscription at no additional cost.
Walmart+ members will be able to receive as a benefit for the first time as part of their membership from September, premium entertainment from Paramount+, such as ‘1883’, ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’, and sports live.
“85% of U.S. households use streaming services and Paramount+ has the premium content and broad appeal our members are looking for,” comments Chris Cracchiolo, CEO of Walmart+.
The world’s largest retailer points out that its Walmart+ subscription offering has seen positive member growth every month since its launch in September 2020.
