Because he wanted to get out of a rock club, a 25-year-old had to endure hours of ordeal. The members of the club detained the young man in an apartment in Vienna’s Floridsdorf district in mid-September – beat him and forced him to do inhumane acts. Six suspects have now been arrested.
In September it was enough for the 25-year-old: He wanted to turn his back on the rocker club. When he communicated his decision to the members, the martyrdom began. Six men between the ages of 23 and 37 held the 25-year-old in the apartment for several hours. They threatened him, beat him and humiliated him. Hours later, the victim was released – however, the man who was drawn had to pay several thousand euros for an “exit fee”. Use of WEGA and Cobra The 25-year-old went to the police in October and reported the incident. After extensive investigations, the police have now succeeded in investigating six suspects. With the support of WEGA and Cobra, the men were arrested at their home addresses. Four suspects were taken to the prison and two were released; the club was not an offshoot of the well-known international rocker gangs and, once the act was over, the detectives were pretty sure they had blown up the whole local group likely: There were apparently no more members, police spokesman Christopher Verhnjak reported on APA request. All men – they are Austrian citizens or stateless – were already known to the police. In the first questionnaires they showed themselves to be partially confessed.
