First, a 15-year-old from Spittal lightly touched a 34-year-old German as he passed by. After a brief argument, he pulled out a pocket knife and held it to the student’s neck.
The student (15) was with a friend of the same age in a shopping center in Spittal when the incident occurred. “The 34-year-old German threatened him, but apparently didn’t want any money or valuables,” the police said. Then the man withdrew in the direction of the train station. The alarmed police were later able to identify and apprehend the perpetrator in the city center. During the interrogation, the German, who lives in Spittal, admitted that he had threatened the 15-year-old with a knife. But he just wanted to scare him. “The jackknife was secured and the 34-year-old was banned from using weapons.”
