The Ukrainian army records new military successes. ARD and ZDF are showing two special programs this Monday.

Is there a turning point in the Ukraine war? Two special programs that will be shown this Monday (September 12) on Erste and ZDF deal with this question. The broadcasters have changed their program for this.

Documentary starts later

From 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the first shows “Focus: War against Ukraine” (WDR) with moderator Ellen Ehni (49). The program deals with the fact that the Ukrainian army in the east of the country is constantly reporting new military successes and asks the questions: “Do these success stories mark a turn in Russia’s war against Ukraine – and what does that mean for the Kremlin?” After the “Brennpunkt” the nature documentary “Erste Experience” is broadcast at 8:30 p.m., “Hard but fair” begins at 9:15 p.m., the “Daily Topics” at 10:30 p.m.

A “ZDF special”, which is shown from 7:20 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., also deals with the recovery of strategically important cities. Among other things, it addresses the question of what significance further arms deliveries could have for the course of the war. The business and consumer magazine “Wiso” then runs from 7:40 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Immediately afterwards, the television film “In the wrong hands” will be broadcast.
