Wargaming.net donates $1 million to the Ukrainian Red Cross

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to rage in Europe and is at the center of the news. Unfortunately, many Ukrainian civilians find themselves stranded in the countryin bunkers and shelters in order to protect themselves from combat. Wargaming.net, the studio behind World of Tanks and most of the World games on the market (World of Warships, World of Warplanes, etc.) have activities located in Ukraineincluding a branch of the company in Kyiv. The band said last night that the safety of its employees is its top priority in this dispute.

To help its more than 550 employees, the company is ready to put the means. Whether providing alternative dwellingsof pay wages in advance or even of distribute more funds for travel and relocation, all possible means of assistance are put in place. Wargaming.net, founded in Belarus but now based in Cyprus, is also helping to the families of its employees by also helping them to travel to neighboring countries as well as arranging accommodation on site.

Finally, Wargaming.net, in order to support all Ukrainians more broadly, decided to donate one million dollars to the Ukrainian Red Cross. These funds will then be used by the association to support Ukrainian hospitals and doctors, citizens who have been displaced as well as for other vital activities of the organization, according to need. Wargaming.net also declares that the company “will be able to act with more humanitarian aid if the situation demands it”.
