Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun delivers a new gameplay trailer full of finesse

Lovingly designed by the English at Auroch Digital (Mars Skyline And Brewmaster – an absolutely delicious micro-brewery simulator), Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is about to be released in less than a fortnight on PC and consoles. Our preview had us rather excited, even if we will refrain from any firm and definitive judgment before having been able to put on our energy armor and expunge of all its cultists and demons Graia, a Forge World invaded by Chaos.

Purge the Heretiiiiiiiiiiics!

The latest trailer, delivered by Auroch and Focus, refocuses on the gameplay nervous about the title. The recipe couldn’t be simpler: 2D sprites in 3D decors, a totally assumed 90’s aesthetic (and in tune with the times given the number of Boomer Shooters that lurk in the stalls of virtual shops), bolters, holy armor, a chainsaw, and a mission: to reduce to the state of elementary particles all that moves. Given the very nautre of the title, it will take nerves and reflexes of steel to make the Imperium proud. This FPS old school will show the shadow of its Space Marine on May 23 on Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Pre-orders for W40K Boltgun are already available on the publisher’s official website.
