With the release of Warzone 2 fast approaching, multiple leaks have begun to lift the lid on what’s in store for players, starting with a preview of what the map could look like.
As things go from bad to worse in the battle royale, Warzone 2 seems more and more like Activision’s lifeline. Many players are pinning their hopes on this sequel, hoping that the developers will avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Indeed, while bugs and cheating have been the daily lot of players for some time, since the launch of Warzone Pacific things seem to have gotten worse, so more and more players are packing their bags.
A lot of things are still unclear about Warzone 2, but new information from a reputable leaker may well begin to set the scene for the battle royale sequel.
A first look at the Warzone 2 map?
On April 23, the leaker said that Warzone 2’s map will take heavy inspiration from Medellin, Colombia. This city considered the city of eternal spring is located in the Aburra Valley in Colombia, a central region of the Andes mountain range.

According to these leaks, the story would focus on the conflict with the drug cartels in Colombia, knowing that the cartel that emerged from Medellin was led by Pablo Escobar.
Of course, as always, this information should be taken with a grain of salt until it has been confirmed by Activision or Infinity Ward. Especially since even if they are proven, the developers can always change their tune before the game is released.
