It was formalized in February 2022 that Warzone 2 was well and truly planned. Or rather “the new Warzone experience”, which has always been referred to as such, not to mention “2”. On the occasion of the last financial report of Activision Blizzard, several significant details were shared, in particular concerning this future battle royale ambitious.
In particular, we can read that this new Warzone experience will present “ its revolutionary innovations later this year, most likely after the start of the 2022 school year, once Modern Warfare 2 is released. We should then find out what this new opus will offer, which should be exclusively next-gen, and therefore more beautiful and optimized than Warzone currently is, since it is built from the ground up. Regarding his release, it could very well take place in March 2023, the anniversary date of the battle royale of the Call of Duty license.
The new free-to-play Warzone experience, which is built from the ground up alongside the premium game, features groundbreaking innovations that will be revealed later this year.
In the meantime, we should learn more about the new installment of the Call of Duty license, which is Modern Warfare 2, sequel to Modern Warfare (2019), since its revelation should be done shortly. Activision will put everything on its side to attract players, who have been much less to play Vanguard, as explained in the financial report.
