Warzone Ghost perk nerfed in secret

Warzone specialist TrueGameData has confirmed that the developers have secretly nerfed the popular Ghost perk. Indeed, it now only hides you from enemies when you are moving.

When it comes to the perfect class in Warzone, you need to make sure you have the best of the best, from weapons to perks.

The second slot is dominated by Overkill and Ghost.

Unfortunately, many campers abuse the camouflage potential offered by this asset. Players have therefore been asking for it to be changed for a very long time. Now it seems that Raven Software did it without telling anyone.

Campers in Warzone are not well liked, and rightly so.

The anti-camper Warzone Ghost asset?

There are plenty of Warzone analysts out there, but few are as reliable as TrueGameData and JGOD. This time, TGD did some research around the Ghost perk.

TGD explained that after extensive testing they can now confirm that “Ghost no longer hides from you when you’re not moving. But, it still does when you’re on the move.”

This means that campers using the perk will no longer be able to hide in a bush, or wait in an invisible building on the minimap.

When drones are used, if you have this perk and you are stationary, you will appear as a red dot on the minimap. Fans were happy to see this change, as hatred of campers is widespread.

No one knows why Raven hasn’t bothered to communicate about this change. But, it has since been confirmed that this is in effect in public and private matches, as well as Modern Warfare multiplayer games.
