Warzone Pacific: January 5th Patch Note

At the start of the 2022 school year, Raven Software just posted the first update of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. According to the studio’s statement, this is a first draft which will be followed by several other updates, and that’s going to do the Battle Royale a lot of good.

Although the corrections made are quite minimal at the moment, we can therefore expect much more important updates in the days to come.

For this first update, Raven Software decided to tweak Vanguard’s public mode event called ” Clearance sale “. From now on, the latter will last for the duration of the circle (zone) in which it was launched.

Next, an important point and not the least: the correction of the invisible skin of the operator Francis. His Awakened skin was indeed invisible to opponents when they were beyond a certain distance. It is now visible to players in front of it again.

Patch Note for the January 5 update in Warzone Pacific

GAMEPLAY

  • In Vanguard modes, the Clearance Sale public event will now last for the duration of the respective circle it begins with.

BUG CORRECTIONS

  • Fixed collision issues with various Caldera items allowing players to mine, watch, or shoot through them.
  • Fixed an issue where each loadout drop would appear at the exact same XY coordinates.
  • Fixed an issue where the appearance of Operator Francis “Awakened” was invisible beyond a certain distance.

Along with this first update of the year for the Battle Royale, Sledgehammer Games announced earlier this week that an update will arrive this week, without giving a release date.

According to the studio, updates will be deployed to correct the power of shotguns, or a new way to counter the fire of the new incendiary grenades.

As of December, Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players can battle in the new Pacific Island with its town of Caldera. However, this one is not to everyone’s liking, and the final zone system seems to designate roughly the same every time.
