Warzone Pacific: the latest update angered players

Some Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players are not exactly happy with the latest update which would ruin their experience.

A new update arrived on the Call of Duty battle royale this Thursday, January 6, but it was not extremely well received by many players who are angry. Warzone Pacific has received a lot of criticism since its debut with players who aren’t really fans of the new map and all the bugs you come across.

Raven Software has since worked hard to try to correct these issues with numerous updates every week. That’s a pretty good thing in general, but this latest update has been criticized by the community.

Bugs are not uncommon in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific.

The January 6 playlist update added the following play modes to Warzone Pacific:

  • Vanguard Royale
  • Vanguard Resurgence
  • Battle royale
  • Looting
  • Resurgence

On Reddit, one player complained about the lack of modes in the classic battle royale, with the developers pushing players heavily to play Vanguard modes like Vanguard Royale to sell the game.

“I understand the need to push Vanguard’s modes to sell the game, but damn it it’s frustrating not being able to play the classic Battle Royale, Trio, Duo, or Solo modes.”

Many players have been used to conventional weapons since Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War and find Vanguard weapons not necessarily suitable for Battle Royale, so prefer to play classic modes.

It’s understandable in both cases, however we hope that the developers will do everything to balance the game modes to satisfy as many players as possible.
